Here’s a list of freebies that I love most. This will be updated as I find more gems out there. Enjoy!
Software and applications
- The 46 Best-ever Freeware Utilities. Free apps and softwares of many different categories, all reviewed and tested! If you need more, you can subscribe to their more comprehensive list of more than 100 free softwares. I’ve subscribed, and no spam at all. I love this site! Saves me so much money, and saves time from trying all the different softwares out there!
Books and ebooks
- Site Build It! Make You Content Presell (MYCPS) ebook- If this book does not blow your mind away, I don’t think anything else will. Stop wondering about how to make a great website or blog. The answer is all here. And no, this is not some cheapo useless ebook. Read it, read it, read it, you won’t regret it.
- Gutenberg E-book Project. A library of 17,000 FREE ebooks whose copyright has expired. Find great gems here, such as Devil’s Dictionary, all of Jane Austen’s work, all of the classics, Yoga writings, etc. It even has books in French and other languages. Powerful search engine, different formats to choose from. A candy store of books. Love it.
- Amazing ‘life’ books by Peter McWilliams. Peter McWilliams died in 2000, and his books are available online. He wrote such great books, some of my fave 3 books can be read here for free: Life 101, Love 101, and How To Cope With Grief. Great read, thank you Peter.
Password bypass
- Bug Me Not. Annoyed with websites that ask you to register? Get logins here, so you don’t have to register! Love this thing. Genius.
Coupon Codes
- Retail Me Not. Get coupon codes here! A must before shopping online. From all other coupon sites out there, this is my fave. It’s not cluttered, easy to navigate, most of the codes work, and it’s a sister site from Bug Me Not. Loveeee it!
Videos
- Google Video. Everybody knows about YouTube and Google vids, but I like Google’s more because it actually searches for all videos on the internet. Also, most videos hosted at Google vids are full length, so no more watching a movie in 11 different parts! And unlike YouTube, you can also download most of them directly from the page (a cinch with a download manager), without going to a 3rd party site, like KeepVid. I found other great videos websites through GV, like Guba and Tudou. Yum Yum!
- KeepVid. Like a video at YouTube or other sites that you’d like to keep forever? Here’s your answer. KeepVid allows you to download streaming videos from YouTube without installing an additional software. It’s so easy to use! Just enter the YouTube video address, and voila, it’s yours.

I have surfed your site with great interest. Impressive, too much top-level stuff to make up for in one session, so I’m going to come back on a regular basis.
Thanks for making all this available to a wide range of users.
Good bye fromItaly.
