Wow! This thing is so exciting. I want my own!

I just found out about Blurb.com, where you can make your own book (softcover, or hardcover), of professional quality, and you can put large pictures on it, and design it however you want, write whatever comments, for as low as $13! That is just so awesome. My own narcissistic value is screaming for one of my own very books.

Imagine, to see your self in a book, your pictures that you actually took, and words that you actually wrote, all bound in a hard cover book, complete with dust jacket, with close up picture of whatever… Wow, that would be enough to satisfy even the most demanding narcissist.

Well, so I’m gonna get me one of these. Ever want to get published? Now is the time =)

How it works is that, you download their free software called BookSmart, and using that, you can start constructing the book. You can choose different sizes, the smallest is 7 x 7 inches, and then it progresses up. You can choose a square, or a rectangular shape. You can include pictures and text, and design it however you like. It would be just like one of those picture book you see at Barnes and Noble, the ones with loads of pictures in it.

Once the book is ‘done’, you submit the order, and it takes them about a week to print it. Then, it will be shipped to you, so add few more days for that. In a few days, it’ll arrive, ready to be placed prominently on the coffee table, or on the book shelf. Boy, this would make a super gift for anyone.
